Project Director - Procter and Gamble NASCAR ProgramResponsibilities included full accountability for a multi project program executed on an EPCM basis for three manufacturing sites. Program Value was greater the $1.0 Billion USD.The main Program Site Project was Project Independence in Martinsburg, WV. The program also include other critical projects executed in Lima, OH and Box Elder, UT.PROJECT INDEPENDENCE • General Project Summary – Project Independence was a Greenfield project in support of P&G’s retooling of their North American Supply Chain. Fluor provided Engineering (Conceptual, Definition and Detailed Design) as well as Supply Chain and Construction Management Services.• General Characteristics of the Project – The Program included multiple business line projects on a common 500 acre site. Fluor provided EPCM services beginning with conceptual design through construction turnover. Fluor specific scope included the Detail Design and Construction of the Site Infrastructure, the Dryer Added Fabric Conditioner (DAFC) Module, the Beauty Module and the Chemical Module Outside Battery Limits (OSBL) module. Flour provide definition level design and CM services for the design – build of the Finished Product Supply Warehouse (FPSW) and the Resource Center Administration Building (RCAB). In addition, Fluor provided direct self perform craft labor for electrical work.• Key Commercial and Financial Elements – This was a cost reimbursable project. • Project Successes – Safety results were very good and the Cost and Schedule objectives were met. Fluor was able to provide value by integrating a very large complicated program to meet the client needs• Significant Challenges - This was a P&G Corporate savings project generating savings by lower logistics and manufacturing costs with very aggressive capital cost targets. This affected every aspect of the execution. Multiple iterations of conceptual design were done to reduce capital cost.

Responsibilities included global accountability for the Construction & Fabrication Group at the Fluor Corporate level. This included accountability for all construction and fabrication activities for all business lines on a global basis. Responsibilities included managing this functional group of over 2000 global Construction Management Professionals and over 16,000 craft professionals supporting all of the business lines at Fluor. In addition - responsibilities included the continued career development and succession planning of all the construction resources at Fluor. Also, the portfolio included the expansion and development of our construction support services including welding technologies, advanced work packaging, digital communication, craft training, advanced work flow tools and other technologies such as augmented reality. Responsibilities also included the sponsorship of HSE Leadership as a critical part of the Construction and Fabrication function. During this period the development of the Strategic Plan and Operating Plan for the Construction and Fabrication Group was integral to the development of the overall Fluor Corporate Operating Plan for 2017.
