Primary duty was to investigate and resolve station priority work as defined by the duty Shift Manager. A member of the Maintenance lead team. Responsible for a group of nominally 11 engineering staff. Ensures sufficient SQEP resource is available to provide first line technical advice to relevant customer groups. Provides support, and liaises with DART team, to provide first line response to P1 and P2 defects. Host Interface Representative for a WANO TSM for Plant Return to service.Deputised for the Maintenance Manager as required.

1 year secondment to Efficiency prior to commencing Reactor Desk Engineer (RDE) training. On WM Release 9 ‘Go-Live’ was inaugural DART Senior Authorised Person (SAP) then supported the 13 week plan as SAP for 1 year.Was authorised as HULA, SAP E&M, SAP HV, RDE DAP & Technical Plant Engineer (TPE) SQEP.Previously seconded to the role of Simulator Instructor for 2 years, involved with initial and continuing training and NP Lead for the Training Department.

The servicing of plug units for Dungeness B Fuel Route, also occasionally being involved with maintenance work on conventional plant items. Carried out the duties of the Team Leader during periods of long absence

A member of the maintenance team for any breakdowns on the production lines. Also involved with new project work in the workshop and on the various production lines.

Seconded to the Freight Department maintaining and operating the Euroscan X-Ray Facility. Duties would include operation of the facility, the maintenance of the Pelletron Accelerator X-Ray machine, the Conveyor System and the Traffic Control System. Also being responsible for the training and supervision of 4 Sub Contractors.

USAF Pre-Positioning Program in the Sultanate of Oman. Supervising a workforce of 4 Western and 65 Asian personnel on a contract for maintaining and reconstituting civil engineering equipment used by USAF on deployment and exercise.

The installation of Fixed Equipment on the Channel Tunnel Project both Land side and Marine side. Supervising a team of 6 personnel.
