I am responsible for managing the Disaster Cycle Services program for 10 counties in North Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Red Cross, servicing Lycoming, Clinton, Sullivan, Bradford, Snyder, Union, Columbia, Montour, Northumberland and Tioga Counties. This includes overseeing one full time employee and over 100 volunteers. The Disaster program covers the whole Disaster Cycle from prevention to recovery. I have spoken to multiple groups including PEMA, Pennsylvania College of Technology, local EMAs and other community groups. I have deployed to many disasters in my tenure at the Red Cross including the Mass Casualty incidents in Las Vegas and Pittsburgh, flooding in Kentucky, and Elliott City. I have managed local disasters from flooding to apartment building fires. I also serve as a government liaison for the Red Cross at FEMA Region three in Philadelphia.

Responsible for accurately marking out natural gas facilities within my district. I also worked in the field repairing and maintaining natural gas lines and facilities. While at UGI I also served on the workplace safety committee, and also served as president for 4 terms. Other responsibilities were, ensure that all breathing apparatus was inspected and maintained per company policies, complete safety inspections of vehicles and equipment, I also helped to write emergency plans for PG Energy the predecessor to UGI.
