The first part of my career was finance focused. I started as a Cost Accountant and progressed to manufacturing controllerships with American Can. I moved to Risdon in 1989 as a Financial Analyst and progressed to the CFO position by 2002. After my stint as CFO I transitioned to General Management and ran Risdon's lipstick manufacturing division. Eventually I became COO. I left Risdon in 2003 and started HCP Packaging's US subsidiary. The company grew substantially (to over $70m) during my tenure. I then began work in Turnkey Beauty/Contract Manufacturing. First for Wormser where I managed a team responsible for package sourcing, contract manufacturing and client relations with the firm's largest customer. Through this experience, I became involved with Process Technologies and ultimately invested in the business. PTP is leading North American Contract Manufacturer servicing the Cosmetics and Skincare Industry. The company has close to 300k square feet of manufacturing and warehouse floorspace and over 500 employees. The revenue of the business has grown by 50% during my tenure. EBITDA progression has also been substantially stronger than industry benchmarks.Quite simply, I am an Entrepreneur. I enjoy identifying business opportunities in Beauty and Packaging, and using the skills I have amassed during my career to develop and grow new enterprises into mature, high margin businesses.I am a hands-on manager with a strong background in Operations, Finance, Sales and Business Development.
