I started my journey in the flooring industry with B&R Carpets a large family run and well respected business where I was a salesman on the shop floor, I really enjoyed the customer relations and working towards a sale and soon became a key member to there team. My own family started to grow with two beautiful boys (Ronnie & Frankie) and I felt it was the right time to further my career. I successfully joined up with MCD Culpeck (Headlam Group Plc) where I went on to win Culpeck's Sales Representative of the year (2016) in my 1st full year and went on to retain this title (2017). In 2018 I was involved with fundraising for my eldest son Ronnie aged 4 at the time who is a sufferer of spastic diplegia cerebral palsy and required surgery for a life changing operation. We managed to smash the 30k target in just 12 weeks of hard graft and determination to succeed hitting over 50k (Run, Ronnie, Run) we are still taking donations to help with Ronnie’s after care and rehabilitation who is now walking at aged 8 unaided.I then got my move into the carpet manufacturing world with Abingdon Flooring covering the Essex and Hertfordshire area after a fantastic 3 years with MCD Culpeck I felt the time was right to move on and the opportunity to good to turn down.I went on to a win both Regional and National Salesperson of the year for 2019, and again Regional Salesperson for the year 2021.I had lots of experience in training up new starters having trained up 12 at Abingdon Flooring and I was also the Key Account Manager for the Carpets 4 Less chain.After just short of 4 years with Abingdon Flooring I had taken up an exciting opportunity with Cormar Carpet Company.Once again I have been fortunate enough to secure the Territory Manager of the year for 2023 in my first full year and have also become a Key Account Manager with the company in the same year. This was the 4th Sales Rep of the year award I have achieved in my 8th year in sales over 3 companies.I have most recently completed a number of FA coaching courses as I have an involvement with Saffron Walden Town FC & help coach disability football sessions. I am a firm believer that if you plan and prepare correctly and you have the determination to execute those plans you will reap the rewards. I am extremely proud of my achievements to date and always drive myself to be the best I can, I’m fully aware there is so much more to go and achieve. No challenge is never too much for me and I am an extremely ambitious individual who has an inbuilt winning mentality with tremendous tenacity to succeed.
