Manager Training Organizational Development
Current-Prepare, develop and/or collect information and materials to be used in conducting and/or facilitating training, meetings or seminars, including lesson plans, training guides, participant manuals, videos, slides and other materials. -Determine employee and agency training and professional development needs through surveys, interviews, or other sources; reviews and analyzes special requests for training courses and professional development. -Manage the Training Specialist - Supervise, mentor, and coach team members through 1:1 meetings, team meetings, networking, growth and development plans-Manage and maintain with accuracy the organizational development budget of $275,000 which includes Diversity Council, Connect Committee, training and development department, and education reimbursement program.-Oversee all aspects of the LMS. This includes but is not limited to: creating/closing classes, marking employee's completion, create and maintain learning paths, troubleshoot any LMS issues, maintain user accounts, run completion reports, Create Zoom/Teams session, maintain a working relationship with the OMES admins and modernize eLearning system to offer more engaging and relevant online trainings-Certified 5 Voices and MBTI trainer-Assure all training materials have specific objectives, lesson plans are on file, and support materials are well documented; assures all attendance is recorded and individual transcripts maintained.-Assure annual training opportunities are sufficient to meet agency supervisors’ compliance with statutorily required minimum training hours.-Conduct classroom or other types of training using adult education and training principles and techniques; evaluate results and makes changes or adjustments as needed. -Counsel employees and supervisors concerning training challenges and provides information about educational opportunities and eligibility requirements.
