Independent Outside Sales Rep. I represented 10 manufacturers ranging from specialty interior finishes to an array of exterior cladding and envelope systems. However, I tended to specialize in acoustical treatment. My general job duties included: meeting with architects to help with their design needs and to write specifications, staying aware of all current and future jobs in my territory and bidding accordingly, staying up to date on relevant building codes and developments in product design, giving AIA lunch and learn presentations to both large and small groups to spread awareness of design techniques and requirements, coordinating project logistics with manufacturers, architects, subs, and GCs from the early design stage through product completion. I also maintained the company website as well as our in-house sample library.

In charge of securing leases for the chronically homeless. Outreach to community, business owners, realtors, landlords, housing developers and other service providers to identify new and existing leasing opportunities and build strong relationships to better assist clients in accessing housing.

NMLS registered. In addition to standard personal and small business banking (accounts, loans, credit cards, operations, regulations, referrals, prospecting, etc) I became very involved in working with 501c3 organizations in my area. Whether is it simply helping them manage funds, participate in fundraising programs, or applying for CRA grants; I found this to be an especially engaging and fulfilling element of my work.

Working with customers to open and maintain accounts, filing loan and credit card applications and following through until decision, cross-selling products using the consultative sales method, aiding in establishing and repairing credit scores, cold calling on prospective customers, staying up to date on products and promotions as well as operations and regulations, passed Safe Act requirements, familiarity with IRA accounts and RMDs, referring business to mortgage, investment, and business partners.
