● Designed and managed the financial aid awarding process for both prospective and current students.Ensured that over 2,400 prospective and 2,100 returning student financial aid packages followedinstitutional policies and federal regulations.● Identified and analyzed trends in applicant and admit pool. Worked with Enrollment Leadership to optimize financial aid strategies within these trends to help reach institutional strategic goals while staying within budgetary constraints.● Partnered with IT and the Director of Enrollment Information and Research to analyze institutionalpolicies, strategies and their impact on student/family behavior.● Oversaw the implementation of Net Price Calculator and myIntuition software and maintained theseproducts to ensure integrity and accuracy in our communication with prospective students and families.● Created and implemented the Emergency Fund for Students. This program provides emergency funding for expenses outside of St. Olaf to over 50 students per year. ● Directed the Financial Literacy initiative on campus. Hired financial literacy interns and guided them inpartnering with other offices on campus to increase student attention through dynamic, relevantprogramming.● Co-created and implemented a communication outreach schedule to keep families engaged and informed throughout the financial aid application and awarding process.● Provided clear and responsive counseling to prospective student families about the financial aid process, including the affordability and value of a St. Olaf College education.● Facilitated two-way communication between enrollment leadership and families.● Served as liaison to the TRiO/Student Support Services Office to help increase financial literacy andgraduation rates among first generation and low-income students on campus.
