Current positions are a Florida state park ranger, Charlotte County environmental educator, and homeschool group K-8 chemistry teacher. I am a successful teacher guiding K-8 grade students through individual learning tasks to prepare them to be life long learners. My experience has been in the 1st to 4th grade classroom, K-6 gifted & math support, and K-8 history, literature, art & science. I have a wide variety of work and volunteer experiences besides teaching that has made me a strong employee: home marketing/sign installation (14 years), newspaper deliverer (five years), park patrol/lifeguard/pool supervisor (6 years) and coach/coordinator/state head judge (15+ years), and ministry support group leader (25 years). Communication (verbal, written, and technological) skills are a strength as I understand the importance of creating and nurturing a cohesive bond among all stakeholders: parents, students, colleagues, volunteers, and administrators. Hard work and service to others are my goals. I have been know as dedicated and responsible worker and leader throughout my career.
