Steve Lord is the President of Kasota Group LLC. Steve began his career as an Ensign, Civil Engineer Corps, USN and was soon leading naval construction units in the Pacific, Atlantic and Europe. He went on to manage numerous Federal acquisition and construction projects in the U.S., Europe and the Pacific, and was given increasing levels of responsibility in capital project/services procurement, contract management, engineering, and operations work throughout his navy career. After achieving the rank of Commander, Steve transitioned to Target Corporation in a Senior Strategy position. Upon arriving at Target, he restructured the non-retail procurement operation into an integrated, streamlined procurement organization that used the latest and most innovative procurement techniques/technology. Promoted to Director of Operations and Non-Retail Procurement in 2005, his additional responsibilities at Target grew to include management of the corporate energy program, resource recovery operations, recycling and a technology group. In 2010, Steve left target to form Kasota Group LLC.
