Coding, Data and UI are important but in the end must be anchored to the User sand the business value they provide. Here are a few noteworthy projects. I'm happy to geek out on the details: - At ARVELOUS, I'm building a company, its game tech, backend tech, its products and brand completely from the ground up. This revolutionary concept puts mobile games inside popup greeting cards and fuels a socially connective experience. - At Prevailion, I designed, architected and coded our v2 front end from the ground up transforming complex cyber data into understandable business intelligence for the C-Suite. In between sprints I also created our v2 brand and authored a proprietary Visual Security Language (VSL). VSL driven presentations were critical in the sales process for bridging the knowledge gap with cyber security basics for executives.- At Korporeal, as the sole employee, I've created rich intellectual properties, innovative gaming models and some real viral marketing Ninjutsu that turned into highly sought after collectibles.- At Quantomic I had a large stake in the concept, design and coding of v1.0 of Tagspire - one of the world's first social commerce platforms for both web and mobile. We created a platform that allowed users to sell top quality brand name affiliate products in minutes without lengthy approval processes, applications or reviews. I was also responsible for creating the initial brand, vast amounts of market/product research (which yielded a new model for adoption theory) and last but not least v1 of our internal data intelligence portal.- At Texas State I built 2 massive educational simulators that garnered worldwide attention for innovation in teaching. Students engaged real world concepts in a virtual setting prepping them for real life lessons and challenges. Lastly, I authored a completely automated documentation publishing system dropping documentation white labeling from weeks to seconds. Our product update cycle was shortened tremendously without this bottleneck.I'm a creative and a coder who creates things that people admire and enjoy using. I savor challenges, innovation and out of the box thinking while tirelessly advocating and re-evaluating for the end user. I'm also comfortable handling difficult clients, communicating clearly with developers and communicating clearly with creatives. I appreciate and honor camaraderie with customers, coworkers management and interns.

Atomilux Consulting - Full TimeAtomilux Jul 2017 - Aug 2018There were a variety of creative and development contracts executed as I moved into doing contract work for my customers full time. Two notable large clients were:Carnival - Senior Developer: We were developing a mobile Casino Table manager for Android devices utilizing a cutting edge proprietary proximity detection sensor network with the Unity3d game engine. Customers in proximity would show up in the UI and render virtual avatars with custom photos, any age restrictions and customer name. Customers could then have the dealer scan their NFC wrist bracelets and be added to the table. The stack was Unity3d C#, JSONObject, LeanTween, Native Android NFC libraries, RabbitMQ a REST driven NodeJS API and a SOAP driven API. I was the lead for this app and coordinated with a talented team of developers and alongside other agencies.Max Digital - Full Stack Web Developer: This well run shop needed help finishing out a flagship product that streamlined the auto sales process with a fully integrated mobile/desktop system that allowed sales managers to track if a test drive was in progress, if financing was in process and ifa sale was completed. The end product was shelled inside iOS/Android but served up via internal browsers vs native code. The stack was Angular 1, jQuery, Lodash, Bootstrap, UI Slider (customized by me), input field masking, .NET and MySQL. Full Stack DeveloperPrevailion Jul 2018 - Nov 2021The Woodlands, Texas, UsHelping this promising startup build a prototype from the ground up was a very welcome challenge, a sizable lift and shiny cog in a great team effort. User Experience: Working closely with our visionary CEO, we simplified complex cyber data into comprehensible business intelligence for the C-Suite. Using finely tuned design hierarchy, fundamental color theory, simplified descriptions and a UI that reveals richer data as you dig further, we created a very successful product fueled by amazingly innovative data.Front End: The stack was ReactJS, Create React App 2, Axios, Node EventEmitter, Custom Routing, jQuery, Luxon, LoDash, Popper, Jest, Enzyme, Chokidar SCSS, custom CSS framework and elegant custom UI animations/transformations. The API layer stored all data in central object and our Components pulled data from it as needed. EventEmitter events were sent/received for inter-component communications and data state changes. Data state was maintained server-side via Python APIs leveraging Flask Rest Plus and PostgreSQL. Unit Tests were written for component renders, state changes, methods, API calls, Event Emissions and Receptions. I was flanked by very able bodied back end devs that equipped me with a reliable API that was fully documented and functional via the Swagger. Close communications and support every step of the way from these team members was integral. The end result was an amazing, elegant and unique UI that told stories with our data that no chart, spreadsheet or server log ever could. Our customers responded very well to it and seasoned investors were impressed. -
