• Responsible for selling floor care equipment to the healthcare, education and building service industries.• Obtain new customers as well as maintain existing distributor accounts.• Responsible for managing new business development and strategic planning to maximize growth and profitability. • Establish growth plans for individual distributors while personally managing account calls, presentations, contracts and negotiations.• Consistently establish and maintain an exemplary network of business associates as a result of extensive interaction and strong communication skills through networking by means of cold calling, expositions and generated leads.• Provide excellent service to customers with attention to detail and thoroughly following up on all inquiries, sales, leads and quotations.• Effectively respond to clients' requests, inquiries, suggestions, and or concerns within a timely manner

• Oversee the custodial operations of 30 buildings and 150 Union custodial staff members• Work closely with appointed DESPA union officials on any disciplinary• Work with Principals in the evaluation and progressive disciplinary processes• Audit buildings on a monthly basis to ensure satisfaction of cleanliness• Investigate and train staff on workplace safety• Interview and hire custodial staff• Develop and initiate cleaning standards using chemical systems• Purchase and implement new machinery to increase productivity and efficiency• Inventory and maintain the districts custodial equipment• Distribute specialty equipment for project cleaning• Organize and create projects handed down by Director of Facilities• Hold monthly Head Custodian meetings to discuss; operational changes, safety training, requisition training• Work closely with trades department on proper repair and maintenance of mechanical systems
