I have cultivated various admirable skills around mainstream Television news production, news editing and packaging, research and archival of news material, electronic news coverage for both indoors and outdoors production, technical operations which are not limited to camera handling, and online television news production through social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Before I decided to pursue journalism, I knew it would involve traveling a lot; to places to gather news. Travelling has always been my passion, and thus I enjoy it. From it, I get the opportunity to go to different places and learn about various cultures. Additionally, I interact with lots of people who help in building my career. To sharpen my skills in documentary production, and non-linear and analog video editing, I have participated in a task force mandated to produce unique Television documentaries for National Celebrations in Kenya and across all the Kenyan embassies, under the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Kenya.

I worked in partnership with the President’s Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) to package a weekly news program titled ‘Project 254’ which aired on KBC Channel 1 every Friday, showcasing various projects undertaken by His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Fourth President of the Republic of Kenya, under the Big Four Agenda. Further, I participated in the production of the first ever StateHouse Kenya Service Charter Video.

While attached to State House Nairobi, I have worked in a team mandated to produce over 100 short thematic videos dubbed “Keeping the Promise” highlighting the achievements of the National Government between January 2018 and July 2022.

While working as an Assistant Producer with Visaga Productions, I was mandated with creating well-crafted, informative, and interesting videos for clients in the public and private sectors, as well as independent productions.
