Stephen is a Global Logistics Leader with over 25 years of experience in Logistics Operations within the Healthcare and Medical Device Sectors, covering Asia Pacific, North America and Europe. As Senior Director of Global Logistics at ResMed, Stephen courageously led the team through the Covid-19 Pandemic. As a passionate leader, he built capability within the team to implement a resilient and agile Logistics Network to ensure delivery of life saving devices across the globe, whilst supporting double digit sales growth. With his curious mindset, coupled with his high financial acumen, Stephen is always looking at driving operational efficiencies and has a strong track record in delivering cost savings, process improvements and an enhanced customer experience. Stephen also has a passion for data, as he believes this is an enabler for competitive advantage and he duly established the “Global Data Standards” for Logistics. This enabled the implementation of many Logistics digital initiatives leading to enhanced reporting and decision making.Prior to this role, Stephen spent 13 years at GlaxoSmithKline covering various roles in Transformation and Operations across Asia and ANZ. Stephen works with an End-to-End Mindset with an obsession on the Person at the end of the Supply Chain. During this period Stephen had gained a reputation as an authentic leader, with a passion to drive change and was well respected due to his collaboration and cross-functional skills. Stephen launched the Regional S&OP Process for the Region, as well as multiple deployments of SAP, driving adoption of standard Ways of Working leading to streamlined and simplified processes. Stephen’s relentless curiosity on challenging the status quo institutionalised the Continuous Improvement mindset initiatives leading to improved company performance across profit and Inventory. Stephen was also successful in delivering JV Integrations and Network optimisation Programs across Asia/ANZ.Prior to this role Stephen worked at Frucor/Suntory in both an operational and Analyst role. He managed both In-house and Outsourced operations. Via Network reviews and strong governance over 3PL Suppliers, Stephen improved operational performance and enhanced customer service levels.Stephen earned his Chartered Management Accountancy from University of Manchester. He majored in Finance & Accountancy from University of Salford.
