Head of corporate Data Protection for the Capco group (part of Wipro) across 17 countries (covering Europe, APAC & Americas). Working remotely from the UK. Implemented and operating a GDPR based privacy model across group operations.

A strategic role across the Equifax UK group of companies acting as an intermediary between the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), data subjects and business units as defined in Article 39 of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), including:- Providing the Board with recommendations on data protection policy and process requirements- Advising the organisation and its employees about their obligations to comply with the GDPR- Monitoring compliance with the GDPR and other data protection laws, including managing internal data protection activities, advising on data protection impact assessments, training staff and conducting internal compliance testing and monitoring - Being the first point of contact for the ICO and an escalation contact point for individuals whose data is processed.

Responsible across the Equifax UK group of companies, which include consumer and commercial credit referencing and consumer debt services (TDX), for compliance with data protection legislation and credit data sharing regulations. Manage the Equifax relationship with our key regulators; the Financial Conduct Authority on policy matters and with the Information Commissioner's Office, as well as having responsibility for liaison with key UK Government officials on relevant legislative matters.

Responsible for compliance with data protection, FCA and credit data sharing regulations. I also sat as an independent advisor on the steering committee of the Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG).

Responsible for credit risk across HSBC's consumer credit operations in Central Europe and Ireland.

Responsibilities included the credit risk management of HFC's UK consumer credit portfolios across their branch, retailer, direct lending and secured businesses, before moving to HFC's and then HSBC's consumer credit operations in Central Europe and Ireland, supervising the in-country credit risk teams.
