Not many know that Priya is India’s First Ever One Show Silver Pencil Winner. A Gold Medalist from BK Somani Sophia College of Art,who at the same time also learnt Bharatanatyam, Carnatic vocal music and was a trainer in Shiamak Davar's dance troupe.Priya started her advertising career in Lintas (now Lowe) working on Bajaj Sunny Zip, Tanishq jewellery and watches, Fair & Lovely, Pepsodent, Clinic All Clear, DSP Black and Somac (public service cell of Lintas). She moved to DY&R Rediffusion to work on Colgate Palmolive.Steve on the other hand is a commerce graduate who while doing his CA foundation course, decided to quit CA and join advertising if he'd fail that year. He passed however but joined advertising anyways.After training with McCann Erickson, he moved on to Prezens for a short while.Priya and Steve met in Brand David headed by Josy paul in 2002.Together, they practiced the David philosophy (think like the pirates and act like the navy!) on a host of brands like Singapore Tourism, Mumbai Mirror, LG mobiles, RadioCity, AIS glass, BBC, Channel 9, Excalibur, Nitco tiles, Cuticura deos and talc, Radio One (Mid Day group), CNN IBN, IMAX Adlabs and Essar to name a few.Priya and Steve moved to JWT (Now Wunderman Thompson) in June 2007. They worked on almost every product category from Automobiles to Banking and Finance to FMCG, Media and pretty much everything. They’ve worked and built India’s biggest and most iconic brands like Goodknight, IPL, Sony Max, Sugar Free, Škoda, AMFI, Tata Power, Mumbai Mirror, Star, Godrej Securities, Park Avenue, Ezee Detergent, Nutralite, Kotak Life, Bank of Baroda, Forevermark, Sling TV, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Sofit, Jolly Rancher, Hershey’s, Unilever, D’Decor, Kellogg’s, Big FM, Nakshatra, PCRA.They’ve created 3 back to back IPL campaigns from 2011 to 2013, which included making the entire Nation do the 'Jumping Japang ' with Farah Khan. They’ve been an integral part of Goodknight’s growth story and have taken the brand from Rs.800 crores to the leading giant it is today.They’ve also created the PCRA campaign (which helped the Govt save Rs.10,000 crores in a span of 18 months) and have won a long list of Indian and International awards.Priya and Steve are Dreamers, Doers, Initiators, Creators, Storytellers and complete workaholics and in no way apologetic about it.
