Steve is the Director, Digital Product Management and Commerce Strategy at TE Connectivity. He has been with TE since May 2014 starting as a manager before being promoted to senior manager and then director. His area of focus has been product management of TE.com digital capabilities.Steve’s background includes sales, marketing, and digital product management experience at large and small companies selling both consumer and industrial b2b products. Prior to joining TE, Steve was Director of eCommerce at Airgas, Inc. (ARG), an industrial products manufacturer and distributor, for almost 13 years. There he launched ecommerce on Airgas.com, later adding capabilities directly integrating into customer’s procurement platforms. He was responsible for product management, product catalog, marketing, digital customer support, and business unit and national account sales team adoption.Steve started his career in sales at ADP based in NJ, later transferring to San Diego where he earned a Master of Science in Marketing. His first marketing position was with Intuit running customer acquisition campaigns for TurboTax and Quicken personal finance software in direct mail, magazines, TV, radio, and early online ads. Leveraging his Intuit experience, Steve was one of the first employees of an internet start-up, CarParts.com, where he was responsible for creating a large affiliate marketing program and defining requirements for marketing capabilities.
