Steve was engaged in December 2019 by HBP Group to help shape HBP Group's strategic focus in health and wellbeing. The role was created with a focus on:- Developing and commercialising new health and wellbeing initiatives for current and future HBP clients- Supporting and mentoring HBP Group management team- Improving systems and processes for business development - Supporting business development.With the reorientation of HBP's offering, in September 2020 Steve's role altered to lead taking the new model to the market.

Steve founded health and wellbeing company Follaine Group after a 10-year career working in professional sports, with positions such as Head Physiotherapist for the (NRL) Bulldogs and (A-League) Western Sydney Wanderers. Steve has successfully applied the philosophies of professional sports’ proactive and outcome-driven health and performance, to Australian emergency services and corporate settings.At FolIaine we help organisations maximise health and wellbeing outcomes with practical solutions.Steve has worked with large government agencies such as Tasmania's Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) and Ambulance Tasmania, the NSW Police Force and Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB) as well as private corporations across multiple industries.In 2019, Steve led the design, implementation and engagement of a bespoke health and wellbeing program for Tasmania's Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) and Ambulance Tasmania. Steve partnered with Gallagher Bassett and Rehab Management to be the successful party in a competitive tender process to deliver this program. The program is called MyPulse and launched in September 2019.Steve's work in Tasmania on MyPulse led to he and his family happily relocating from Sydney to beautiful and calm Hobart. In Hobart Follaine have continued working in the health and wellbeing space, most notably with HBP Group from late 2019. Working within the Tasmanian Health Service Emergency Operation Command (THS EOC) COVID-19 response April and May moving in to the Department of Health's Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) in June. The ECC Senior Lead – Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is responsible for the management of the ECC PPE Unit:• Effectively manage pandemic medical stockpiles (including PPE, pathology and ventilators) to ensure continuity of supply for the Department• Lead and manage a team in order to:o Maintain awareness of worldwide & national situation of PPE supplies.o Identification of emerging budget and financial management issues.o Purchase, coordinate and manage medical stockpiles centrally and develop contingencies, as required, for where appropriate levels of medical supplies cannot be maintained.• Provide direction, support and advice to the Health ECC and Health State Commander including briefings, minutes, reports, correspondence and other executive and official documents as required.• Coordinate responses related to PPE, Ventilators and COVID-19 related pathology to Parliament, Ministers, Public and Journalistic responses, Audit responses and similar.• Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders• Develop and implement appropriate strategies and policies to support the continuity of supply for the Department during the COVID-19 response• Liaise with and respond to external stakeholders at the multi-agency, inter-jurisdictional and national level to identify and manage PPE and supply attainment issues.

Rehab Management provide the health and wellbeing services to the MyPulse program (Tasmania's Emergency Services health and wellbeing program). The MyPulse services include health and wellbeing screenings, coaching, health clinic consultations and educational content. Steve is engaged by Rehab Management to March 2020 to develop and ensure quality and results in these components of the MyPulse program.

Steve was engaged by Gallagher Bassett (GB) in March 2019 for the design of a proactive health and wellbeing program for Tasmania's Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management and Ambulance Tasmania (DPFEM & AT). Steve assisted the GB team in developing the tender response for the Tasmanian Governments Request for Tender (RFT) and through the tender review process; for GB to be the successful Tenderer. Steve's engagement with GB continued, providing his services as the Implementation and Engagement Manager of the program, being based in Tasmania. The MyPulse program launched in September 2019 and as of November 2019 16% of the eligible Emergency Services workforce had taken a health and wellbeing 'pulse check'.

Consulting role reviewing Frasers Property Australia's (FPA) current health and wellbeing initiatives and injury management systems. The review involved desk top reviews, workshops, external stakeholders and FPA staff. Following review a series of reports and recommendations were provided. The project is presently on hold.
