My primary duties include:-Creating / Modifying 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor (including welded sheet / plate fabrications, Hydraulic Manifolds, Electronic Schematics, Hose and Harness runs and General Assembly drawings). Creating component and system assembly build structure in our database system to match the models, generating new.

My primary role was to interpret design visuals supplied by the graphics department, and to create all associated signage manufacturing drawings, layouts and instructions, using primarily AutoCAD light 2000 and Sign Lab. This role also included direct liaison with specialist materials and service suppliers, in a project facilitating capacity

My primary role within Saia-Burgess was in product design with a heavy CAD bias using ‘Autodesk Inventor’, but during my time there I was ultimately utilised within both of the main sectors of the business (Microswitches and sensors). I was responsible for the development of a rapid response temperature sensor, a new contact system for an emergency stop.

• I was primarily accountable for component design and cost reduction projects, but my duties extended beyond this. My responsibilities included: -
• The co-ordination of a number of design projects. I dealt with sensors for Vaillant, Chaffoteaux, and Baxi. Development projects included the following: -
• A Pipe Mount Sensor
• A Universal-Mounting Bracket (to fix thermostats to pipes of various diameters)
• A Modular Inflow Sensor Range
• A Flexible Temperature Sensor
