Responsible for managing the Center's founding, growth and success by working with faculty, alumni, students, and private and corporate partners to design and deploy various programs:- conceived, created and currently manage the Business Engagement Center (BEC) as a resource for small and startup businesses to gain support for business and financial planning, marketing services, logistical support, and other needs using student interns under direct supervision.- host an annual OPEN MINDS Innovation Competition for all students to learn the innovation process, learn design thinking strategies and conceive creative solutions to complex, unsustainable conditions and problems.- offer venture support through ideation, business modeling, financial planning, and identifying key strategic partnership opportunities.- advise on academic matters including instructional tools and methods with particular emphasis on the Lean Launchpad (LLP) methodology.- hosting co-curricular programming events including annual innovation competitions, lectures, workshops and other activities.- created a makerspace including appropriate equipment and furnishings to meet the needs of our students while fostering programs to teach and encourage creative use of technology.- integrating La Salle University's alumni, students and faculty with various entrepreneurial networks, sources of capital and service partnerships in the greater Philadelphia region.- local outreach to work with businesses in the La Salle community to enhance their success and leverage University resources.
