Selected to fill the Interim IT Coordinator position for Faurecia Emission Control Technologies in Lichfield, Staffordshire, in addition to continuing in the position for Faurecia Banbury. Performed managerial duties similar to those described in connection with the IT Coordinator position within Faurecia Banbury. In this capacity, I afforded IT managerial leadership and oversight in the setup of a new greenfield production facility and infrastructure for the manufacture of automotive components for Jaguar Land Rover and Toyota, and provided continuing direction and managerial expertise in the provision of 1st and 2nd level support for the ERP system. Managing and directing the IT team in identifying and providing solutions for gaps in network service. Leading the new Finance Shared Service Centre in providing computer systems support for utilisation and administration of Oracle and ERP applications, and managing and overseeing all monthly reporting to the Area Management regarding Company IT progress.
It Coordinator
Overall managerial responsibility for all site IT related activities including budgetary control; management of the local IT team; identification of systems network requirements; coordination with external teams and departments for implementation of computer systems technologies and services; and provision by the local IT team of Level 1 and Level 2 support for Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing programs, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Office Automation Systems. Ensuring adherence by the IT team to Core-Model best practices for both ERP and JIT systems and overseeing and directing upgrades of the ERP system, including testing, training and delivery of services. Managing and leading the IT team in ensuring launch readiness for new automotive seating programs, liaising with the Manufacturing Engineering and Program teams to identify and correct gaps in network service, utilising Industrial Data Processing Systems (IDPS) and developing and implementing new network requirements to run parallel L3 and UKL programs down the production line.Further to these current responsibilities included, overseeing and directing the completion of monthly reporting of system activities and progress to upper management. Accountable for providing budget information for Capital Expenditure submissions and for overseeing and directing the upgrade of the IT infrastructure, to include Office Automation and the Local Area Network (LAN). Managing the local IT budget for operational and capital expenditures of approximately €250K Euro (approximately $337K USD) per annum, and directs and oversee the development and implementation of core Self-Billing Processes.

Directed the upgrade of the locally developed JIT computer system based on Microsoft Access and VB6, and liaised with T-Systems and the IT Business Group to provide network solutions based on a .Net Framework and a Microsoft SQL database. Ensured provision by the IT team of 1st level support for the BPCS ERP software system.
Midrange Systems Administrator
Responsibility for administering the UK AS/400 systems, including performance monitoring, system upgrades, capacity planning and Disaster Recovery Planning at the JIT production plant supplying automotive parts to Toyota, Rover, GM, and Nissan manufacturing facilities. Providing IT support for the migration of the NT server infrastructure, and completed upgrades to the Active Directory architecture. Assisted network infrastructure initiatives across all manufacturing and Commercial Offices and supported Lotus Notes capabilities with migration to a Microsoft Exchange locally and centrally. Performed monitoring and capacity planning for upgrades at two production facilities and support infrastructure initiatives across all manufacturing Sites and Commercial Offices. Liaised with the Office Automation tram to improve support for the NT server infrastructure and carried our migrations to Active Directory architecture to all United Kingdom sites. Provided IT expertise to the Advanced Sequencing Centre for Nissan Cockpits in the Running of XJIT on the NT platform.
