Geo-environmental Scientist with over 30 years’ experience, which includes: environmental risk assessments and audits; project management, planning, co-ordinating and supervising site investigations for contaminated land and Geotechnical studies; environmental monitoring; management and supervision of contaminated land remediation projects. He has experience of advising on issues such as the impact of on-site and off-site contamination, implications and management of soil gas including risk from landfill sites, development strategies and the problems of environmental liability associated with contaminated land. He has project managed a number of detailed investigations and contaminated land assessments, and had input on several schemes that have progressed through to full site remediation. Projects have covered the full range of inorganic and organic contaminants found on former industrial land and waste disposal sites in the UK and overseas.
