Management of Highgate Private Hospital, part of Aspen Healthcare which is owned by the NMC Group. The hospital has an annual turnover of £15m and specialises in elective and cosmetic surgery with 4 Operating Theatres, 1 (JAG Accredited) Endoscopy Theatre and 42 Beds. This role was created to focus on the recovery and redevelopment of the hospital and to realise the full potential of the facility and to capitalise on the self-pay and private insurance markets. This has been achieved by a radical reduction in costs through restructure and outsourcing along with new revenue streams for the future.

Bishopswood Hospital

Provide strategic direction, leadership and management of BMI Bishops Wood carrying out around 9,000 procedures per year and providing over 2500 Oncology treatments. The hospital specialises in elective surgery, oncology and palliative / end of life treatment and provides for NHS, Private and Self-Funded patients. Responsible for creating and delivering the annual strategic and operational plan and driving hospital EBITDA in line with BMI targets. Of the total business, 70% is private and 30% is NHS. Facilities include 42 beds (29 inpatient, 5 bed day unit, 7 chemo day rooms and 1 enhanced recovery bed) and 3 theatres (2 main and 1 minor). Direct reports include Director of Clinical Services, Quality & Risk Manager, Operations Director and a Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting to Regional Director – London & South East my ED performance and outputs are measured by KPI’s, Dashboards and ultimately EBITDA position.Executive Director BMI Syon Clinic (March 2015 - Dec 2016) and BMI Coombe Wing (Mar 2015 - Jun 2016)Provided strategic leadership and management of BMI Syon Clinic and BMI Coombe Wing (22 inpatient beds). The 2 units had Multi million pound turnovers with a mixture of inpatient and outpatient services including full diagnostic and imaging services. Development of both sites business opportunities and integration within BMI Estate and National Service Lines. Delivered financial presentations and updates to Board of Syon Clinic UK Ltd. BMI Syon Clinic is a 50/50 Joint Venture (BMI Syon Clinic Ltd) between BMI and a group of Consultants (Sentosa UK Ltd).

Kingston Upon Thames

Responsible for the day-to-day running of 2 General Medical Services Practices in the Kingston area with approximately 13,500 patients. Reporting to and working with 6 GP Partners. Managed all financial aspects of both practices as well as employees and NHS Governance. Led conversations with GPs regards the development of new service lines and to secure additional funding. Key focus of my role was ensuring GP practices met all Governance and regulatory requirements.• Launched new Enhanced and CCG Funded Services• 10% increase in combined practice income FY2014• Implemented new employment contracts, policies and procedures• Led integration of newly acquired sister practice• Local Service Management of Minor Surgery Provision• Created and implemented practice policies to comply with CQC and took both GP surgeries from a clean sheet to be CQC ready.• Managed relocation of sister practice to new Health Centre

Management of Marketing and representing Regional Team to develop new campaigns and initiatives. Full responsibility for P&L and KPI performance as well as control of £5m labour budget and day to day management of approximately 50 Pharmacists and 350 store based staff.Management of PCT and external stakeholders and supply of medicines into institutions and care homes and development of new opportunities.• Awarded Regional Area Manager of the Year for Lloyds Pharmacy 2009 (Region 5)
