Continued the two roles of General manager and IT Manager at the London office following the sale to Round Hill Music.I managed the team and the office operations plus the IT function.All HR and office operations were run by me and the IT system was built around these parameters.Major points:• Designed and implemented a new data centre based IT system and installed VOIP phone system that allowed the team to work from any location.• Planned and implemented move, with the team, from former office to a temporary office for six months.• Located and negotiated the lease on a permanent office. Liaised and worked with office designers and negotiate with the landlord for a redesign and fit out of new office. Brought the project in on time and under budget.

I took the position as GM, whilst remaining the IT manager, when the sale of Carlin Music to Round Hill was in its final stages.During this initial period I oversaw the office re-organization and the reduction of staffing numbers.I was briefed to liaise with lawyers and all agents of the sale to ensure the UK team were ready for the move to Round Hill.

I joined the legendary music publishers, Carlin Music, just as internet technologies were taking off. Accordingly, I was able to upgrade of the systems to make the most of the new technologies and over the next few years add resilience and greater data security as qell as more sophisticated data reporting and analysis tools. • As an SME we now had access to a large company approach to the system setup. London a New York office were linked for shared services.• The AS400 and the royalty system in both cities able to be supported from one location.• Enhanced backup and recovery systems and off-site Disaster Recovery .• Additional reporting tools, some still in use today, were developed and installed to enhance the reporting of the royalty and finance systems.
