Began writing for football publications in 1998 with articles in fanzines "The Farr Post" (Brisbane) and "Studs Up" (Melbourne).Later, helped found an independent supporters' association called the Brisbane Strikers Supporters' Association and continued writing football articles for its match day publication the "Free Kick" and its website. This continued for seven years before the Brisbane Strikers Football Club asked the "Free Kick's" editorial team to adapt the publication to become the club's official match day program. This suggestion was accepted. Later, the club approached me to assist it with its media liaison and publications writing. In this role I have written hundreds of articles for the Brisbane Strikers official website and match program, and also contributed articles and ideas which have been published (or more usually adapted) for Brisbane newspapers in the Quest, News Limited and independent 'stables', and in monthly publications such as Soccer International. Have also contributed many articles which have been used on Football Queensland's QSL website and, in 2011, specifically contributed its weekly match previews which formed the basis for a number of previews in regional Queensland newspapers.
