Middleton High School was established in 1879. While much has changed since that time, one constant has been the belief in the ability of students to excel. Lakes is a suburban Chicago comprehensive public high school, home to nearly 1500 students, which first opened its doors in the fall of 2004. Lakes made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in 2013 and has been recognized with the “Red Apple” award by the College Board, the “Red Quill” and “Red Quill Legacy” awards from ACT, and was named the seventeenth Democracy School in Illinois. Chicago Magazine ranked Lakes as one of the Top 10 High Schools in Lake County and Newsweek and U.S. News and World Report have ranked Lakes among the top high schools in America.

Stevenson is a public high school in suburban Chicago, home to over 4000 students and is the only high school in Illinois to receive four Blue Ribbon Awards for Excellence in Education from the U.S. Department of Education. The Stevenson Music Department was recognized by the Music Educators National Conference (MENC) as one of 12 Model Music Programs in the country and in 2010, the Fine Arts Division was one of five schools in the country to receive the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts National Schools of Distinction in Arts Education Award.

Mary D. Bradford High School is a diverse, urban, comprehensive school home to approximately 250 staff and nearly 2450 students in grades 9-12.

Durand High School, a comprehensive 9-12 school of 450 students, is located in the Chippewa Valley region of Western Wisconsin.
