What’s the BIG IDEA? I create and direct award-winning advertising that’s idea-first, insightful, strategic and on target. Work that’s unexpected and commands attention. But most importantly, sells stuff. Understanding the brand (and a few times, creating it), the product and the intended audience and bringing them all together to create stop-you-in-your-tracks solutions, is what I do best. Understanding and connecting with real people is what gives the work I create it’s power. I like to think I’m the unseen voice that brings big brands face to face with their consumers. Making the faceless personal, approachable and relatable. Although I have been known to twist a phrase here and there, my primary background is in art direction and design. It’s the perfect marriage of words and pictures, moving or static, spoken or read, that gets me jazzed. Whether it’s social, digital, print or broadcast, the combination of words and pictures has the timeless power to persuade and delight. I aim to do both in everything I do – from the leadership style I practice to the work I produce.I have a wide variety of experience. Everything from brand, to B2B to shopper. Working on top-shelf accounts such as Continental, Goodyear, ExxonMobil, John Deere, Sherwin-Williams and many others. I’ve never lost that good enough is never good enough spirit.
