Designing a Selenium testing framework for testing their Telecom centric billing system. This involves creating the framework as well as converting the existing test cases over to run in the Selenium based framework. The framework is built on Selenium WebDriver using Java.

Create and execute test plans for industrial grade wireless networking devices. Provide feedback to design engineers on improving products and user experience. Expertise in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and hands-on working experience with Software Testing Life Cycle. Experience in configuring and testing wireless devices using 802.11x, Cellular, and Spread Spectrum Frequency Hopping technologies.

Design and development of billing system support applications. These applications interface with various telecom system to provision devices to use that system. I also develop and design applications on the system that collects data from these devices and passes it to the downstream billing systems. I also assist in providing off hours support for these two systems. Technologies include Unix (AIX, SunOS, and HP). Development is done using C and Pro-C, PERL, and Java.

Lead a 6 person team of developers supporting web applications that were both internal and customer facing. This included managing personnel, executing performance reviews, managing projects, and providing input on the department budget. I was also involved in planning upcoming projects from the outside business partners. One of the larger projects was creating an online form processing system that included approval workflow. This system replaced nearly 50 paper forms with an online version. Another project was developing an application for the company to use while to participating in spectrum auctions run by the FCC. This project required strict adherence to federal rules related to these kinds of auctions.

Worked as an application developer on a team converting 3 million telecommunication customers from one billing system to a new one. The technologies used were Oracle, C, PERL, and shell scripts. I was also a conversion lead for the multiple day conversions. Duties included overseeing the conversion activities, scheduling resources, and being the point person for upper management.

Worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer providing test plans for their Unix based email switch. Technologies used were PERL and Unix shell scripts. I also ran the QA department which consisted of two employees who performed the testing. Testing was done from the installation package through low level tests of the code.

Worked as a Software Engineer, designing low level software to run single board computers. Designed test software to exercise the various peripherals on the board prior to delivery. Languages used were C and Assembly language.
