Senior electrical Technician working in the Newman HUB on a 12 hr day night roster responsible for trouble shooting and maintenance of the processing line starting at the Primary Crusher though to the Train load out.

• I commenced my career at ALCOA as an Instrument fitter,• Under took a 4 year apprenticeship to become dual traded as electrical fitter/ mechanic, worked in the precipitation, calcination and shipping areas• In about 1999 I became an electrical maintenance planner, this role was changed into an Electrical Instrument equipment maintenance coordinator,• I took part in the data building for FMMS a computer based maintenance system, and in eAM an oracle computer based maintenance system• I trained and authorise electrical discipline isolators• I have been the electrical in house licensee• I managed the Kwinana electrical maintenance budget• I stepped up as the Electrical Supervisor during his leave.

Commenced as an Apprentice instrument fitter, I completed my time, I then commenced as a tradesperson working both on waste water treatment plants and fresh water treatment.I graduated as apprentice of the year
