Health Outcome Planning & Education (HOPE act), National Alzheimer’s Project Act (NAPA), and Alzheimer’s Task Force Committee. -Yearly visitations in March to Washington D.C. for on the hill meetings.-Referral source for constituent inquires relating to Alzheimer’s.Young Advocates for the Alzheimer’s Association Chairman:-YAAA! Acts as a subcommittee of the Desert Southwest Chapter Advocacy Committee and is open to adults aged 18-39 who are interested in furthering awareness of dementia-related issues and Alzheimer’s Advocacy efforts.-Yearly participation in Alzheimer’s walks to generate awareness of the disease, raise contributions for, collect information from constituents on Advocacy cards personally delivered to Members of Congress in support of the disease. 5 walks each year.
