I worked in multiple teams within the Microsoft IT organisation during which time I.... - Worked as the Release Manager for the pre-cursor of what went on to become Microsoft 365 taking feature requirements from our incubation customers and working with our engineering teams on our roadmap. The resulting product experiences went on to become what we enjoy today with cloud based SharePoint, Exchange, Office and Endpoint Manager. - Developed and implemented a Change Advisory Board based on the ITLM framework. This CAB process is still in place today and oversees every significant change that touches up to 400k PC's at anytime and delivered predictability while managing risks effectively. - Partnered with the Office engineering team to ensure that we could deploy at scale each new release of the Office client products to over 200k employees from early Beta to final release. A key element to my role was to facilitate a combination of effective listening channels including user sentiment, product telemetry and support evidence to ensure our engineering teams could ship the highest quality experiences to our customers. - Drove an idea for proactive issue remediation from a concept to a shipping product experience within the Microsoft Endpoint Analytics experience in just 18 months. This experience is a key part of our ticket reduction strategy within Microsoft and has enabled us to tackle many user impacting issue before the user even knows there is a problem.
