I am the executive director of the Mandarin Learning Center, an educational organization in Beaverton, Oregon. It has been my passion to both study Mandarin and inspire others to learn it. Mandarin is not like any other language, and studying it opens almost anybody's eyes to knew perspectives that may otherwise go undiscovered.Our organization's purpose is "To educate our students through effective, fast-paced, educational methods that bring about an expert fluency in Mandarin Chinese, and to raise awareness in society about the culture, customs, and history of China."Working at the MLC is a blast, and I am lucky to have such great staff, friends, and supporters that help me along the way as I continue to teach and manage our organization.
