Steve, an Associate of the Australian Property Institute and a seasoned Queensland Property Valuer with over 13 years of valuable experience in property valuations and has conducted more than 15,000 property inspections. Throughout his career, Steve has navigated the dynamic landscape of Queensland’s property market, spanning from the challenges posed by the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) and extreme flooding to the surging property market brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. In his role, he has provided detailed reports on a wide spectrum of properties, ranging from uninhabitable squats to high-end inner-city penthouses, sometimes within the same day. His journey led him to serve as an Associate Director, where he managed a team of 24 property valuers for a national firm. During his extensive career, Steve observed a growing trend of skewed property information driven by financial incentives. Recognising the importance of transparency and the need for unbiased, easily accessible consumer reporting, Steve founded Propscore. His mission is to empower property buyers with reliable information so they can purchase with confidence in an era where information abundance can sometimes lead to confusion.
