Steve leads RPS Environment's Land & Infrastructure Division, together with management and environmental assessment of major projects throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory, with strong focus on the land development, infrastructure, extractive and renewables industries. He places strong emphasis on approvals strategies, including project and client advocacy at State and Federal levels.Key advisory roles include the OEPA Stakeholder Reference Group – Ongoing Review of EIA Process in WA (2009 – present). This has included input to draft Bilateral Agreements, and restructuring following the Quinlan Review of Roe 8. Steve was a member of the Shared Environmental Assessment Knowledge Taskforce 2009–2011 (Minister for the Environment), and contributes to the DevlopmentWA (LandCorp) Specialist Register (2012–present), the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority Project Review Board and Curtin University Review Board (both 2014–present). He was a Councillor for the Urban Development Institute of Australia WA (Inc.) (2007–2009), the UDIA Sustainable Urban Development Committee (ex-Chair) – UDIA/DEC Working Group and UDIA Urban Drainage Task Force. He is currently a member of the UDIA Environment Committee (ex-Chair) and member of the Environmental Consultants Association (WA).
