I’m writing this recommendation because I think so darn highly of him. As a business developer he has no equal. During the very difficult Oil and Gas downturn years (2020-2021) in which NUTECH was at the verge of solvency Steve would time and time again find business in the most unlikely of places. It helps that he basically knows everyone and everyone knows and remembers him because he truly wants to help and provide exactly what the customer needs. Steve is resourceful, dedicated and relentless to find a client and then he goes to work bending over backwards to provide the client exactly what they want/need. Steve’s work ethic is incredible. I would say on the border of workaholism. He is constantly working finding a way to help a client. I would not say that Steve is a people person, although he is, I would say he is a people helper. As a leader/manager he cares so deeply about his employees that he will regularly make personal financial sacrifices for the benefit of his people. This behavior has warped my view of everyone being in business for the singular benefit of themselves. Steve’s culture is that we are all in this together and we will all benefit together. He has shared significant commissions with all employees instead of keeping his well-earned commissions to himself. He has a heart of gold. He expects much from his people, but he is the first one to take the shirt off his back when someone is in need. Steve just does not give up. He is relentless and this quality has been such an inspiration to me. He is endlessly optimistic which keeps him in the fight longer than it would have been reasonable for him to do. His ability to keep going when all else is lost I credit as principally responsible for saving NUTECH during the 2020-2021 downturn. He was the force that kept it all moving forward."
