As VP and CFO, Rowe partnered with the MSO EVP and other VPs / GMs to best utilize Intel’s significant resources. He led an organization of 350 employees across the world. Prior that, he was the VP & CFO of Mobile Client Platforms, his responsibilities included financial support and leadership for Intel’s Client Computing Group’s largest Pnl, CCG Product Roadmap and key adjacencies. Prior to that, he was based in Beijing, China as the VP of Finance for the Greater Asia Region and was responsible for the Finance operations at Intel Asia sites, including China, India, and Malaysia. His responsibilities included China Strategy, Asia Trade Compliance, RnD, Risk Mgmt and Controls, Accounting and Finance Development. Additionally, he has held several Finance VP/controller positions ranging from business unit PnL, controller roles in Corporate Services, Assembly/Test Technology Development, Costa Rica Site Controller, Assembly/Test Manufacturing Group Controller, Fab/Sort Manufacturing, Finance VP, and Global Construction Finance VP. During his tenure at Intel, he has managed as many as 350 ee's in countries that include Ireland, Israel, PRC, Costa Rica, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, India, and USA. He has deep technical and business knowledge in semi-conductor manufacturing. Rowe also has experience representing Intel in the community and with various governments around the world. In addition to his extensive business experience, he has a passion for organization/people development and is viewed as role model in that area. He has led Intel Finance-wide org improvement projects.

Steve Rowe is a Vice President of Finance for the Greater Asia Region at Intel. Steve is responsible for the Finance operations at Intel Asia sites that includes China, India and Malaysia. His responsibilities include China Strategy, Asia Trade Compliance, Asia R&D, Asia Risk Management & Controls and Asia Finance Development. As VP and Controller, Steve partners with regional Vice Presidents and General Managers, along with related / impacted organizations to best utilize Intel’s significant resources.Steve has almost 26 years’ experience with Intel and has held several Finance positions ranging from Business unit P&L, Controller roles in Corporate Services, Assembly / Test Technology Development, Costa Rica Site Controller, Assembly / Test Manufacturing Group Controller and most recently four+ years as the Vice President of Finance for the world-wide Fab / Sort Manufacturing organization. During his tenure at Intel, he has managed as many as 175 employees in countries that include Ireland, Israel, PRC, Costa Rica, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, India and USA. He has deep technical and business knowledge in TMG / semi-conductor manufacturing. Steve also has experience representing Intel in the community and with various governments around the world (e.g., active participant in Intel Country / Site selection processes). In addition to his extensive business experience, he has a passion for organization / people development and is viewed as role model in that area. He has led Intel Finance-wide organizational improvement projects.He earned a BS in Finance from the University of Arizona and an MBA in Finance from Arizona State University.Steve was an active board member of Proterra Inc., an emissions-free bus / transportation start-up company based out of Greenville, South Carolina from 2012-2014.
