I'm currently almost 7 years into my career in the security print industry having almost a decade of manufacturing experience in the food and automotive sectors. I posses excellent communication skills and an exceptional work ethic along side a continuous improvement mind set. I have been a part of machine projects to improve OEE which in part has been successful. I'm constantly looking to improve everyday processes and, amongst other things, I have designed a layout for cell work which was later implemented. All ofthese designs were the outcome of my lean manufacturing background. I strongly believe that anything can be improved and pride myself on outside the box thinking, challenging the status quo and having the ability to get people on board with my ideas. My everyday aim is to break the old age way of thinking of " ITS ALWAYS BEEN DONE THAT WAY" because without change we can't improve. Life long learning is a passion as I put forward to be H&S representative for my shift. I'm currently about to complete my CMI level 3 diploma in first line management opening the door to progress to my level 5 and in the future to complete six sigma training as I believe this is a vital part of my progression in the manufacturing industry.
