Within Manufacturing (fibre optics and medical devices), I have a history of roles in commissioning, production engineering and process engineering, as well as having been a project engineer, a project manager, and wearing several of the above hats at once.Gravitating towards the process through curiosity and attention to detail, the process is currently my primary focus. Characterisation work to understand interactions and cause-and-effect upon quality and productivity, including materials and inputs to the process. Working closely with the process together with those who run and support it, for hands-on insight. Data-driven, including through lean six sigma DMAIC projects; also DMADV-trained. BQF registered Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.I am tenacious, pragmatic and have an unquenchable motivation to learn and improve, personally and professionally. I believe in interdependency, being open, supportive, listening to and learning from others. Set-backs and mistakes... an inherent risk of being prepared to try, but necessary to learn, improve and achieve. Leadership... from the front.
