Responsible for creating and implementing communication plans for various clients within the Queensland Government's Department of Education, Training and Employment.

Reporting to the Group Manager, Stakeholders and Communication, with responsibility for:• Managing media issues emanating from a community reaction over increasing water prices and the Queensland Government’s decision to repeal legislation giving the Gold Coast, Logan and Redland councils the option to take back their water management from Allconnex Water.• Communicating effectively with all levels of stakeholders – including the Board, CEO, Executive Management, Project Managers and customers – to gather information and obtain approvals to meet media deadlines and successfully deliver marketing programs.• Managing numerous media issues across the Allconnex Water network including wastewater and water accidents. • Successfully delivering proactive media and advertising campaigns to help educate customers about Allconnex Water’s multi-billion dollar works and maintenance programs and wastewater processes.• Providing daily and weekly media reports and updates to the Allconnex Water Board, CEO, Executive Management, Group Managers and External Communications Manager.• Influencing PR and media activity through writing media releases, speech notes, advertising copy and factsheets.• Identifying key issues/potential crises and preparing key messages/holding statements in anticipation of media enquiries. • Researching and reviewing changes in the water industry (including legislative) and staying abreast of market issues through a wide variety of sources.• Contributing to Allconnex Water’s internal communications process through the writing of news articles, photographing events and event setup.

Reporting to the Director of Media Hunt with responsibility for:• Directing and implementing public relations communications strategies that assisted project marketing teams with the sale of millions of dollars worth of property across the eastern seaboard.• Consulting with clients on needs analysis, campaign architecture, campaign requirements and budget.• Developing and implementing PR and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness.• Attending to client proposals including the presentation of campaign strategy, costs and service to clients, and then management of subsequent transition of confirmed contract into the Media Hunt project team.• Identifying opportunities to increase revenue capabilities through effective market research, cross-selling and through knowledge collaboration across the team.• Influencing PR and media activity through the writing of media releases.• Researching and reviewing changes in the market, staying abreast of market issues and maintaining and developing an industry wide network of journalists, advertising agencies and local government contacts.• Providing reports and updates to the Managing Director, including revenue and campaign activity.• Assisting in positioning the development of The Ecovillage at Currumbin as the world’s best environmental estate, and premium residential community, successfully delivering a comprehensive branding, community consultation and media relations campaign.• Managing the PR needs for Australand (top 200 ASX listed developer), supporting the company’s three Gold Coast developments through a comprehensive media relations and community consultation campaign.• Working with the Central Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce to voluntarily assist the Chamber with increasing membership and to create awareness regarding issues affecting members.

DefenceFit Martial Arts Centre provides martial art training to all levels of students, from pre-school through to adult classes through a structured learning program.• Structured courses for students of all ages, ensuring the curriculum supported the student's learning capabilities and could be adapted to those that enjoyed competition to those that sort only the fitness benefits. • Planned programs for the year, and conducted ongoing evaluations to enhance student experience. • Wrote advertising for journals, online content, student newsletters/updates and flyers.• Managed the administration of bookings and payments.
