I am currently the PGA Director of Golf Operations for all five championship golf courses at Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire, Michigan.I was previously the PGA Director of Instruction at Treetops Resort. Lead Golf Instructor for the Treetops Golf Academy. Previously the PGA Head Golf Professional at Cedar River Golf Course Shanty Creek Resort. Previously I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to own and operate The Highlands Golf Club and Event Venue for nine years until the facility was sold. I am excited to be able to share my golf management, golf operation, overall facility operations, marketing and many other life long learned skills to assist other businesses with their desire to improve their business model and increase profits as they adapt to the ever changing business world. A Member of the PGA since 1985, I have been successfully operating golf courses for 41 years and have shown revenue increases even during a down cycle in the golf business. I was selected as one of the Top 50 Kid's Teachers in America by U.S. Kids Golf in 2005-2009 and I am now a Master Kid's Teacher.As a past board member of the First Tee of West Michigan I was instrumental in bringing the program to West Michigan in 2010.Writer for Urban St. Magazine in Holland, Michigan in 2006 & 2007.Specialties: Golf course operation and total golf facility management.
