Fulfils the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) function for Transpower by: •Leading the development and implementation of the enterprise security programme covering security governance (GovSec), information security (InfoSec), physical security (PhySec) and personnel security (PerSec) domains. •Ensuring that Transpower operates within the Board defined risk appetite and risk tolerance and lead IST divisional assurance activities. •Working collaboratively with senior managers across the business to lead the development and delivery of enterprise security solutions and operations.•Leading the IST Security Services Team to maintain and operate core cybersecurity services to the agreed maturity level as defined by policy and best practice.•Being accountable for providing the interface with major outsource suppliers for Transpower’s security infrastructure and services. •Holding end to end responsibility for the secure operations of Transpower services.•Playing a leadership role within the wider industry.

Responsible for the Real time systems team within Transpower whom maintain, develop and support RTU, SCADA and telecommunication systems.Key focus areas:- Deliver SCADA and RTU projects to the capital programme for grid expansion and improvement- Maintain reliable RTU/SCADA systems, respond to faults and manage technical risk.- Develop engineering systems, tools and provide subject matter expertise.

Asset/Plant Manager for the joint Kapuni Production Station and Kapuni Gas Treatment Plant. Leading the transition and integration of both sites as a part of the acquisition of the KGTP plant to create "one kapuni"Direct responsibility for the day to day and strategic direction of the operations and maintenance teams, minor shutdowns and site activities.Part of the production operations leadership team for Todd Energy and greater assets.

Leadership of a new integrity and reliability team across the Todd Energy Mckee/Mangahewa and Kapuni Plants.Responsible for the pressure equipment, electrical systems and safety systems integrity programme.Responsible for the strategic development of reliability systems, processes and performance.Responsible for the delivery of the major shutdown programme planning and execution across sites.

Lead a team of 4 team leaders looking after asset management, I&E and mechanical maintenance delivery, process optimisation & strategy and projects delivery.Responsibilities include the delivery of the Kapuni Gas Treatment plant maintenance (Approximately $8m) and engineering capital programme (Approximately $4m), development of the team, and a member of the site senior leadership team.

Manage a team of multidiscipline engineers both delivering engineering capital and opex projects and providing engineering expertise to the maintenance department and site.Project Sponsor and Director as appropriate for the engineering programme.Part of the site senior leadership team involved in the direction and governance of the Kapuni Gas Treatment Plant

Responsibility for the management and development of the sites various control systems including the direction and development of the site Bailey DCS system and Honeywell FSC Safety Shutdown System. Proposals for budgets and conceptulised, budgeted, planned and delivery of nearly $500k in capital works. project management of significant control systems projects on site. Building on the quality systems developed and introduction of control system procedures and standards for the site also standardising on equipment and technologies.

Producing cost build-up sheets, system architectures, client specifications, programmes and contractual documents attending site to survey and detail requirements. involved in a new venture into the vision industry with the development and installation of Vision systems for the inspection of defects or product classification.

PLC control systems development and research and development into software standards and automated configuration systems with respect to control ststem standard code/templates and automation of standards across multiple platforms.Control systems experience in Allen Bradley/Rockwell SLC, Controllogix, PLC-5, Mitsibishi, Wonderware SCADA.

Control system design and configuration whilst working within various project teams, working in control system dsign, programming, operator interface configuration, communications and system testing and commissioning.Rockwell SLC, PLC-5, Panelview, RS View.
