As the Vice President of Finance and Operations I am responsible for The Redstone Group’s accounting, business planning and budgeting, cash flow management, human resources, operations, and information technology. As the organization’s top finance executive, I serve as a strategic thought partner to senior management, providing important strategic decision making and operations input. As the organization’s top human resource officer, I am entrusted to manage Redstone’s greatest asset: our employees. As the Vice President of Finance and Operations I play a critical role in ensuring healthy and sustainable growth, increasing profitability, and the implementation of effective strategies to accomplish its mission, consistent with its defining convictions. My Responsibilities and Skills Include:Finance and Accounting- Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.- Maintaining internal controls and safeguards for receipt of revenue and expenses. - Overseeing Redstone’s budgeting and planning processes and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner and keeping senior management abreast of Redstone’s financials. This includes a great attention to detail in comparing actual profitability to budget, identifying and explaining any variances. - Managing organizational cash flow by forecasting anticipated regular cash inflows and outflows, accurately analyzing the data, and preparing regular management reports. Operations- Managing Redstone’s physical plant, equipment, supplies, and office maintenance contracts.- Applying resourcefulness in serving as point person for all Information Technology, including phones, computers, and software applications with an eye toward continuously improving systems. - Coordinating Redstone Commercial Services, including warehouse allocation, inventory management, billing, and collections.
