After returning from a seconded role, Steve resumed the Corporate Development Manager role. Key responsibilities included• Assisting in raising new funds for the business. In conjunction with the CFO the business arranged a $15m hybrid debt facility. • Management of the Insurance Portfolio. Steve worked with specialised brokers to ensure insurance coverage on key areas of risk. Key to this role is the identification of risk, determination of the probability of occurrence, resulting costs of insurable events and communication to the Board to make decisions on purchasing insurances.• Business Planning and identification of commercial opportunities. Steve financially modelled the business. In conjunction with the CFO and CEO to develop growth plans for the business including organic growth and growth through acquisition of like businesses in the same sector. Identification of target companies involved technical evaluation and commercial evaluation of the targets and the industry of their operation.

Responsible for the good working order of the company’s equipment. The role extended into operations management and included. • The last 6 months of a 3.5 year build of the new generation of PRODs and the commissioning of the first of these two units. Managed a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technicians through the final stages of factory testing of these assets in preparation for the equipment’s first client project. The role required striking a balance between the commissioning for perfection against the business needs of having the unit capable of performing its first substantial client project. • The management of the company’s largest client project utilising one of these new PROD’s which lasted for 6 months with a value of $23m. • The commencement of simultaneous operations across two different continents with two machines. For 10 years the company had been configured as a one PROD unit with very skilled engineers and technicians operating this unit. Having multiple machines changed this dynamic forever and required the hire and training of new engineers and technical contractors and substantial dilution of expertise amongst multiple crews. • Development of engineering and technical staff, post the design and build phase of the project. • Planning for the maintenance of multiple assets physically separated from established maintenance bases. • Preparation for the transition from a Sydney assembly facility to a Singapore facility.

The Company has grown from an Australian focused business to one successfully delivering its unique service offering Worldwide.Reporting to the CEO, responsibilities have included business planning, assistance with fund raising, business origination and sales, tendering and contract negotiation. Specific areas of experience and achievements:- Assisted in fund raising and introduction of key investors pre '05. - Key contributor to more than tripling turnover from $10 million in FY07/08 to $34 million in FY08/09. - Managed Benthic's projects- Responsible for commercial negotiations for multi-million dollar contracts- Key contributor to the ongoing upgrade of the companies business and IT systems
