Regional Delivery Manager and US Country Manager serving the launch of the Volvo Group University, the new global training team for the Volvo Group. The Volvo Group University is now the central training organization for the 110,000 employees of the Volvo Group. The main VGU campus is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Regional Centers will be established over time. Greensboro, North Carolina is home to the regional delivery center for the Americas. The regional delivery center offers the global curriculum of the VGU and also provides selected country specific curriculum through an on demand training strategy. Current combined curriculum focuses on leadership, management, project management and professional development training. There is a growth plan to add curriculum for operations, engineering, sales, and process over the coming years.

Acting Global Director, March 2012 to present. Direct the 80 members of the Training on Demand team located in 5 countries; Sweden, France, Poland, India and US. We currently support global delivers in 15 countries while operating local training teams in our core 5 countries. Responsibilities include budget forecasts, revenue forecasts, scheduling, product development & maintenance, needs analysis, customer interface and staff management. In 2012, the Training on Demand team delivered 8000 days of training world-wide. In 2013, the Training on Demand team delivered 10,000 days of training world-wide. US Training Manager, October 2011 to Present. Manage the US Training on Demand team as the country manager in support of the global curriculum and the local curriculum. The US team, currently 3 members, was established in October 2011 as an extension of the global Training on Demand team.

Developed, delivered, and or certified in programs on management, professional development, customer service and sales for this Fortune 500 national builder. Created annual training plans for regional division associates. Conducted training needs analysis studies. Served as education and development advisor to business unit leaders. Provided executive coaching services for selected managers and high potential associates.

Worked closely with BB&T’s senior leadership team and regional presidents to keep consulting and training products proactive. Utilized strong skills in communication - oral and written, consulting, presentation, selling, classroom instruction, instructional design, and project leadership. Conducted workshops on Emotional Intelligence using the ECI from Hay Group. In addition to the 360-review process, conducted teambuilding sessions using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the FIRO-B Interpersonal instruments. Initiated executive coaching process within the bank for high potential managers, succession plan and managers in trouble. Provided consulting services to management and intact teams for organizational development issues.
