Regional Procurement/Supply Chain Manager & Fleet accountable for multiple Greenfield developments throughout Iraq/Kurdistan. Accountable for the standardisation, implementation and management of national supply chain/fleet processes and implementation strategies in order to manage internal and external stake-holder expectations whilst delivering exceptional customer service. Operating across a diverse spend portfolio, driving continuous improvement with expansion across the indirect categories, focusing on: maximum profitability, robust equipment care, facilities, fleet, equipment’s, CapEx/P&L, fuel, etc. Managing all aspects of equipment husbandry, scheduled maintenances and availability.• To remain at the forefront of industry best practice, remodelled the national operational procurement/fleet activities involving multiple stakeholder groups in order to standardise group procedures and increase process efficiencies. Driving forward a strong equipment care/husbandry policy.• Manages CapEx/P&L planning fleet and procurement ensuring that a total cost model is implemented which enables effective decision-making to ensure maximum value, long term benefit and ultimate project success. Implementing strategies to reduce maintenance, equipment hire and repair costs, to maximise revenue growth.

• Managerial experience across multiple commodity groups including: procurement, fleet, telecoms, IT, communications, clothing, medical, and electronic security. Builds valuable relationships with clients, key suppliers and business units on a global level, in a challenging environment. Managing and vetting ‘Preferred Supplier’ portfolio. Continuously driving to improve, reduce costs and margins.• Develops future team capability and succession for staff members. Ensures regular 1-on-1 appraisals, supervision, coaching and commercial training of personnel to ensure continual personal development, success and motivation. • Uses problem solving skills to develop and create an innovative supply solution that uses lean principles, system development, and innovation. • Successful distribution management of multi-cultural distribution centres throughout Iraq.• Management of the daily/weekly/monthly managerial compulsory checks across all contracts.• The ability to influence, closely with cross-functional team to develop the business, designing and implementing high-security security solutions with imbedded FM & support capability. Always striving to remain the customer’s ‘first choice’ always exceeding their expectations.• Producing and developing Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), other plans, documentation and directives, inc technical documentation to facilitate clear instruction and direction where required.• Enforcing robust HSE compliance throughout the organisation and driving safe working practice.

• All daily management of Logistics/Fleet/Weapons/Ammunition/Equipment Care/Husbandry.• Provide sound Commercial Logistical Management and leadership to Management and all employees of Control Risk employed at the BP site Northern Iraq.• All demands/procurement and equipment’s across the contract are controlled with robust managerial processes in place for accountability, stock control and distribution.• Transport and Logistics Manager for up to 165 vehicles, ensuring all tools and ancillaries are provided, maintained and accounted. Ensure all vehicle stock is correctly managed and service schedules adhered too.• Liaison with vehicle service repair facilities, ensuring vehicle repairs and servicing are monitored and recorded, giving best value for money, including daily garage walkround, providing sound HSE advice and conduct routine inspections.• Account and manage all accountable items (equipments and documentation), held within the Contract.• Conduct frequent equipment reviews to ensure equipment holdings are accounted for and equipment tables and accounts are vigorously maintained within the BP Contract..• Life support leasing with contractors and suppliers for best cost and value for money, with the ability to work with skilled tradesmen when required on site.• Negotiate contracts to reduce cost and maximise efficiency.• Manage the Contract offering guidance, assistance and mentoring when required.• Write/develop SOP’s, other plans, documentation and directives.• Developing and analysing logistical problems, producing satisfactory solutions.• Commercially focused always negotiating the best commercial sale/purchase for the Company, ultimately leading to greater profit.• Complying and enforcing full HSE legislation across the organisation, ensuring robust safe working practice is adhered too.
