I pride myself in demonstrating a high level of professionalism and representation to the cooperative/Public Utility District to the member/owners, communities, legislators, affiliated organizations and other various stakeholders. I have mastered a strong business acumen, innovative thinking, and a compelling vision and the ability to grasp and communicate complex issues relevant to the electric utility industry.With over fifteen years of progressive senior electric utility management experience I have seen the value of developing a strong well informed team. Having worked in both the electric cooperative and public utility industry has given me the experience and an understanding of cooperative/public principles. I have experience with and a high level of understanding of all the core business functions of an electric distribution system: strategic planning, board relations, governance, finance, engineering, technology, operations, power supply, marketing, member services, safety and grassroots initiatives. I have been successful in the understanding of the political/legislative, regulatory and environmental issues impacting the electric utility industry. My formal education and on the job experiences gives me the essential skills needed to run a public utility.
