Contract and 1099 CIO Consultant for Higher Education. Providing practical and experiential insights into IT governance, enterprise systems, strategic planning, procurement strategies and adopting cloud / security services.

Assisting higher education institutions and the venture capital community in understanding the strategic challenges of implementing technology within post-secondary educational environments.

Led the University's Information Technology department and successfully completed a comprehensive reorganization within the first six months of assuming the leadership role.

Provided overall leadership and management for the University's Enterprise Systems and Services department, including strategic planning, leading the Ellucian Banner technical implementation for the University, budget and personnel management, and the development of client and vendor relationships. Additionally, served on various internal University committees and engaged with external professional organizations.

Provided leadership and operational guidance for the division’s Administrative Systems, Web Services, Client Support Services, and Academic Systems departments. Oversaw a substantial annual operating budget and directed a staff of over 30 as they managed critical legacy systems and transitioned to implementing modern technologies.

Appointed City Manager at the Civilian Complaint Review Board with overall responsibility for all aspects of information technology, including telecommunications, networking, software development, and infrastructure. Procured and implemented a substantial capital IT budget and oversaw the growth of the annual operating budget while managing full-time staff and part-time programmers.
