I am highly trained in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Systems, with excellent fault finding and maintenance skills, as well as PLC software programming skills. I have an Electronic Technician (ET) and a Rig Electrician working for and reporting directly to me and I am responsible for ensuring that their work is carried out to a specific and high standard expected from myself and Transocean.I am responsible for all Electrical Energy Isolations as well as any Permit to Works for my areas, ensure all work carried out aboard the vessel is conducted in a safe and positive manner. I also participate in all health & safety aspects on the rig as well as participating in the START card process.
