Responsible for the integrated risk and compliance program to prevent, detect and respond to strategic, operational, reporting, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk management/compliance risks/opportunities across all areas of the Company. Specific Leadership responsibilities include but are not limited to management oversight of 65 employees in the areas of: Internal Audit, Risk Management (WC, GL, and Safety/OSHA), Global Trade Compliance, Sustainability/Environmental Compliance, Pricing Compliance and Business Continuity. Strong Crisis Management background including COVID-19 pandemic.Previously, SVP, Assistant General Counsel responsible for Corporate Legal Department aspects including: transactional, contract/license drafting, policy development and litigation in the areas of merchandising, product development, construction, credit, employment/labor, HR compliance, store operations, real estate, finance, merchandising, loss prevention and construction. Managed 6 lawyers, 3 paralegals and executive administration staff.Strong strategic emphasis along with "in the trenches" execution. Fire prevention emphasis.
