I also support expert members to do likewise, in collaboration with other teams within the organisation. I support many formal and informal member networks, providing expertise where needed and collaborating with clinicians, researchers, educators and others where possible. I lead the CSP’s health informatics work. This includes shaping the physiotherapy profession’s approach to use of quality assurance, promoting routine data collection and engaging with external stakeholders to help develop multi-professional tools and infrastructure for clinicians. Most recently, I co-led the CSP’s development of SNOMED CT subsets in support of the NHS ambition for a paperless NHS. Recently, I presented our approach at SNOMED EXPO (Wellington, New Zealand) and am actively developing national and international opportunities to collaborate and implement this work.
